Welcome Lucas Gillis to the Board of Director
We are excited to welcome Lucas Gillis to the board of the kitchen. Lucas as already jumped in to support both our Resource Development Committee and our 30th Anniversary Event Committee, generously offering his time and energy to strengthen our mission.
Professionally, Lucas brings nearly a decade of experience helping organizations design and manage effective retirement plans that strengthen businesses while supporting employees’ financial well-being.
A Northern Colorado native, Lucas is deeply committed to community involvement. He is active with the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce and serves as a leader in FUEL of Loveland, where he helps cultivate the next generation of local leaders in recognition of his impact, he was honored as the 2025 Young Professional of the Year.
We are grateful for Lucas’s heart for service and his dedication to building a stronger, more connected community.

Caterina Hall | Executive Director
Caterina Hall is the Executive Director of Loveland’s Community Kitchen, where she provides leadership, strategy, and vision to ensure the organization thrives. In her role, she collaborates with the Board of Directors while overseeing operations, volunteers, programs, and community engagement.
Before joining Loveland’s Community Kitchen, Caterina held executive leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, overseeing programs that addressed food insecurity and community support. She led efforts to serve millions of meals annually, managed partnerships with numerous organizations, and played a key role in program development, fundraising, and administration.
Prior to her nonprofit work, Caterina was a leader in the tech industry, serving as CEO and founder of multiple companies specializing in lighting and precision optics. She successfully expanded and sold these businesses and co-founded an international manufacturing facility, securing U.S. State Department approval for its advanced technology. Caterina’s diverse background in operations, program development, and organizational leadership continues to drive her commitment to serving the community.

Aurora Bitner | Program Assistant
Aurora Bitner serves as the Program Assistant for Loveland's Community Kitchen. Aurora's responsibilities include inventory and data management, volunteer recruitment and retention, food safety guidelines are followed and assisting with daily operations. Aurora joined Loveland's Community Kitchen in January 2024. She brings over 10 years experience in the consumer relationships industry managing employees, operations and customer experiences.
